The Observatory team is made up of a supervisor (C. Aspe), 6 researchers who are members of LabexMed partner laboratories (3 from the MMSH and 3 from our other partner institutions), a researcher from outside the LabexMed perimeter and the LabexMed Scientific Program Coordinator (A. Gallin).

- Annabelle Gallin (LabexMed)Its objectives are to assess, monitor and assist in the implementation of interdisciplinarity within the research supported by LabexMed, to promote it and to propose new lines of research.
Its operating methods are thus:
- analysis of the feedback from the Themed Workshops for Interdisciplinary Research Pilot Projects (wave 1, 2012-2013 and wave 2, 2013-2014)
- organisation of interviews based on the representation of the roles with the leaders of selected projects
- organisation of the Focus Workshops
- organisation of guest speaker conferences (Nicole Mathieu and Jean-Paul Deléage).
OPI contributions:
- supervision of the Pilot Projects
- redefinition of LabexMed research axes
- modification of the selection process for the Pilot Projects and APRIMEDs
- continued supervision of the “Interdisciplinary Pathways” cycle
- presentation of the OPI at the INterDISCIPLINaritÉ conference (Bordeaux, June 2017): LabexMed Observatory for Interdisciplinary Practices: a tool built by and for the research community.
